Jemima Goldsmith portrays positive image of Pakistan globally
Jemima Goldsmith is always ready to support Pakistan and presents its positive image globally. Recently, her film What’s Love Got To Do With It? premiered at Toronto Film Festival in which she appeared with her sons and called them half Pakistanis.
Taking to Twitter, Jemima Goldsmith wrote that there are no terrorists in our film “What’s Love Got To Do With It”. She said that she is so tired of this narrative of portraying a negative image of Pakistan in international media.
Taking to Instagram, actress Sajal Aly who is also part of this international project applauded this statement by the writer of the film.
While walking on the red carpet of the festival, Jemima Goldsmith also talked to the media and said, “I lived in Pakistan for ten years between the ages of 20 and 30. I brought my two sons there. We are half Pakistani”.
While talking about her film Jemima further added, “My intention was to write something that was a celebration of all things Pakistani, a love letter to my old friend Pakistan”.
Jemima Goldsmith also announced to donate the profit earned from her film to flood affectees of Pakistan. The film is written and co-produced by Jemima Goldsmith and will release in cinemas on 27 January.
