LAHORE: A protest titled ‘Mard March’ was held outside the Lahore Press Club in Lahore to demand rights of men.

Organisers of the protest said it was held to counter the ‘Aurat March’ which rose such slogans which were unacceptable in our society. The key organizing member said everyone of them had mother, sister and other women relatives and they had great respect for all of them. He said there should be a right manner to seek your rights.

“We are not against feminism, but we are against radical feminism,” he said.

Earlier, Aurat March was held in different cities of Pakistan on International Women’s Day which called for accountability for domestic violence and harassment faced by women. However, the slogans carried by members of this march were despicable and objectionable.
