Jam Awais was ‘under the impact of drugs all the time,’ says Police

Further developments have been made in the murder case of Nazim Jokhio as three more suspects have been apprehended by police on Thursday (today).
Police have told the media that the accused MPA Jam Awais was “under the impact of drugs all the time.” Police further said that Currently there is a case of murder on MPA Jam Awais but there could be more charges against the accused as the CCTV cameras installed at the farmhouse of apprehended MPA have been made missing.
Police further promised that all those involved in the murder of Nazim Jokhio will be brought to justice. “Either death penalty or at least a life imprisonment will be ensured,” said police.
Further revelations have been made that Jam Awais used to play extremely violent games on his mobile phone.
Police mentioned that a hit by stick on the head of Nazim Jokhio proved to be life-ending for the victim and there are chances that he was tortured even after his death. Detailed medical reports will further clear out the exact reasons and further details of the heinous crime.
Yesterday, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) MPA Jam Awais was presented in court after three days of physical remand in the murder case of Nazim Jokhio. The court has extended the remand duration of the accused.

When MPA Jam Awais was brought to the court, the lawyers present in the court protested against the accused and expressed their displeasure through loud slogans.
The Malir district court had directed the investigation officer to present the accused in the next court hearing along with all the progress being made in the murder case of Nazim Jokhio.
