LAHORE: A team of the Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) on Friday raided the head office of sugar mill of disgruntled Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) leader Jahangir Tareen in Lahore.
The CCP officials confiscated records and details of emails and WhatsApp messages exchanged between sugar mills owners on pricing, crushing and production.
A raid was carried out earlier as well by the CCP on Sept 14.
On Sept 17, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had summoned Jahangir Khan Tareen and his son Ali Khan Tareen in a money laundering and sugar mills case.
The FIA had summoned Ali Tareen to appear on Sept 18 (tomorrow) and Jahangir Tareen on Sept 19 at its Lahore office.
