“I’ve seen Mohsin’s ex-wife bruises at my salon”: Rabia Anum
Recently, Rabia Anum gave ample details about her sudden exit from Nida Yasir’s live show by stating, “I cannot even imagine sitting with Mohsin Abbas Haider”.
On Monday, host Rabia Anum walked out from a live morning show of Nida Yasir because of the presence of Mohsin Abbas Haider who was accused of domestic abuse by his ex-wife Fatima Sohail.
Rabia’s step was applauded by so many celebrities and netizens but on the other hand, some people also criticised her for humiliating Mohsin on a live show.
Recently, during an interview, Rabia Anum clarified her exit from Nida Yasir’s live morning show by stating, “The production of the show was not understanding my strong stance on domestic violence. They were saying we will talk about this issue in today’s show”.
She said that “I cannot even imagine sitting with Mohsin. I was not informed by the production team before about the guests. I went to the studio with the thought that I’ll talk to Nida directly and I’ll tell her that I will not sit with this person. We have only 10 seconds left to go live so then I decide that I’ll get up as I get a chance to speak”.
Rabia also recalled a heartbreaking memory of Mohsin’s ex-wife Fatima Sohail and said, “I’ve seen her bruises at my salon. I spoke to her when she told me about the domestic abuse and after that her fake indecent video made viral online”.
