“I’ve barred my wife to befriend women who are divorcees”: Khalil-ur-Rehman

Renowned writer Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar who is mainly in the headlines for passing controversial remarks recently revealed how he had barred his wife from befriending women who are divorcees.

In a recent interview, Khalil-ur-Rehman talked about the initial days of his married life. He said when he got married his wife was not that mature so I told her not to become a friend to a woman who has been through a breakup or divorce.

He said that “it was not because those women did something wrong but because they will not be able to see your happiness and once you get mature then you will choose your friends as you like”.

Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar is a known writer in Pakistan. He is famously known for writing dramas like Pyarey Afzal (2013), Sadqay Tumhare (2014) and most recently the top-rated Meray Paas Tum Ho (2019-2020).
