It’s too early to celebrate Corona’s vaccine: Dr. Atta-ur-Rehman

Dr. Atta-ur-Rehman, head of the Corona Virus Task Force, said it is too early to celebrate the COVID-19 vaccine.
Chief Task Force COVID-19 Dr. Atta-ur-Rehman said while speaking on Geo News program ‘Geo Pakistan’, that it is too early to celebrate the vaccine of coronavirus, as the vaccine has not been approved yet.
He said that this vaccine has to be kept at minus 80 degrees and there is no transportation in the world including Pakistan at minus 80 degrees while the effect of the vaccine will last for two months or three months.
Dr. Atta-ur-Rehman said that the mass production and cost of vaccines is also an issue. However, a Chinese company has also developed a vaccine which has shown positive effects.
He further said that the clinical trials of Chinese vaccine have been successful and it does not require transportation at minus 80 degrees so the vaccine of Chinese company is better for Pakistan.
Russia has also claimed to have developed an effective corona vaccine after the US pharmaceutical company, and Oskana Drapkina, director of a research institute run by the Russian Ministry of Health, said the Sputnik V vaccine was more than 90 percent effective against corona.
Oskana Drapkina says she is monitoring the results of the vaccine trial, the good news is that the results are more than 90% positive.
