Islamabad United trounce Karachi Kings by 8 wickets

In the 22nd match of the Pakistan Super League season six, Islamabad United have beaten Karachi Kings by eight wickets at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi.
Earlier, Islamabad United won the toss and opted to field against Karachi Kings. Babar Azam (81 runs) and Najibullah Zadran (71 runs) helped the Kings scored 190 runs for the loss of four wickets at end of the first innings.
The United chased the target of 191 runs in the second last over while losing only two batsmen. Colin Munro smashed unbeatable 88 runs, followed by Iftikhar Ahmed (71).
Islamabad United stand first in the points table while Karachi Kings claim the fourth position.
It was the second league stage match between the two franchises. Islamabad United had beaten Karachi Kings by five wickets on February 24 at National Stadium, Karachi.
Earlier, the PSL6 was postponed in March due to growing Covid-19 concerns in Pakistan. It was later rescheduled in United Arab Emirates which resumed on June 9.
