In the 18th match of the Pakistan Super League season six, Islamabad United have trounced Quetta Gladiators after winning the match by 10 wickets at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi.
Earlier, the United won the toss and invited the Gladiators to bat first. The batting side was dismissed for 133 runs on the last ball of the innings.
Mohammad Wasim, Hassan Ali and Musa Khan took two wickets each. Jake Weatherald scored 43 runs for the Gladiators.
The United completed 134-run target in just 10 overs. Colin Munro contributed his unbeatable innings of 90 runs off 36 balls, followed by Usman Khawaja (40).
It was the second league stage match between the two franchises. Islamabad United had beaten Quetta Gladiators by six wickets on March 2 at National Stadium, Karachi.
Islamabad United stand second in the points table while the Gladiators claim the sixth and the last position.
Earlier, the PSL6 was postponed in March due to growing Covid-19 concerns in Pakistan. It was later rescheduled in United Arab Emirates which resumed on Wednesday.
