Islamabad United shock Qalandars, win by 28 runs

In the 20th match of the Pakistan Super League season six, Islamabad United have beaten Lahore Qalandars by 28 runs at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi.
After winning the game, Islamabad United replace Lahore Qalandars for the top spot in the points table as the Qalandars stand second.
Earlier, Islamabad United won the toss and decided to bat first. After facing early five dismissals, the United managed to score 152 runs while losing their seven batsmen.
In the 123-run partnership, Asif Ali played a crucial innings of 75 runs and Iftikhar Ahmed scored 49 runs. James Faulkner took three wickets, followed by two dismissals each claimed by Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf.
The United dismissed the chasing team for 124 in the second-last over.
In the second innings, Musa Khan took three wickets while Fawad Ahmed and Shadab Khan bagged two dismissals each. Fakhar Zaman scored 44 runs for the Qalandars, followed by Sohail Akhtar (34).
It was second league stage match between the two franchises. Lahore Qalandars had beaten Islamabad United by five wickets on June 9 at Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium.
Earlier, the PSL6 was postponed in March due to growing Covid-19 concerns in Pakistan. It was later rescheduled in United Arab Emirates which resumed on June 9.
