 Islamabad airport imposes penalty on employees over SOPs violation

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad International Airport has fined 23 employees for not wearing masks.

The director general of the Civil Aviation Authority said, “Employees not wearing masks will be fined between Rs200 and Rs500 and we have instructed airport officers of all cities to ensure that coronavirus SOPs are being followed.”

Earlier, the director general already warned that a fine will be charged over the violation of SOPs from both, passengers and the staff.

The decision was taken just after the rapid increase in the covid-19 cases, across the country.
