 Ishaq Dar to take oath as Senator at 4pm today

PML-N senior leader Ishaq Dar will take oath as a member of the Senate today (Tuesday) at 4pm, according to the sources.

According to sources, Ishaq Dar will take oath as Federal Finance Minister tomorrow September 28 at 10am in the morning.

After 5 years of self-exile, PML-N senior leader Ishaq Dar on Monday night returned to Pakistan from London to assume the office of Finance Minister.

Ishaq Dar arrived Pakistan from London with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

Dar said that PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif have given him the responsibilities of the finance minister.

“I will try my best to get Pakistan out of the economic vortex in which Pakistan is trapped,” he added.

Ishaq Dar said that the way we brought Pakistan out of economic crisis in 1998-99 or 2013-14, hopefully we will go in a positive direction.

Earlier, PML-N leader Miftah Ismail has resigned from the post of federal finance minister on the directions of party supremo Nawaz Sharif.
