ISLAMABAD: Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has reaffirmed his country’s commitment to strengthen relations with Pakistan in the areas of trade, investment and border management.
He expressed this while talking to Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi who called on him at the presidential palace in Tehran on Wednesday.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi in his remarks said both the countries enjoyed cordial and strong relations deep rooted in common history, culture, faith and language.
He thanked the Iranian leadership for consistently supporting the principled stance of Kashmiri people.
On the other hand, FM Qureshi also expressed joy over joint inauguration of Mand-Pishin as the third international border crossing point with Iran. “Together, Pakistan and Iran are committed to connect people on both sides and to enhance bilateral trade,” he said.
