ISLAMABAD: Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif will meet Prime Minister Imran Khan and Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif arrived in Pakistan on a two-day visit yesterday but will begin his official meetings today.
On his arrival in Pakistan, the Iranian Foreign Minister was received by Foreign Ministry officials, Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan Syed Mohammad Hosseini, and senior officials of the Iranian Embassy.
Accompanied by the Iranian Foreign Minister, a high-level delegation of political and economic experts has also visited Pakistan. The guest Foreign Minister is accompanied by Iran’s Special Representative for Afghanistan Mohammad Ibrahim Tahirian.
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif will hold meetings with President Dr. Arif Alawi and Prime Minister Imran Khan today.
According to a Foreign Office spokesman, the Iranian Foreign Minister will also meet Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa during his visit to Pakistan.
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has arrived in Islamabad on a two-day visit to Pakistan at a time when incumbent President Donald Trump has lost the US presidential election and Joe Biden has been elected the new US president who is a Democrat.
