Interim pre-arrest bail of Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz extended till Dec 11

The interim pre-arrest bail of former Chief Minister Punjab, Shehbaz Sharif and opposition leader of Punjab Assembly, Hamza Shehbaz has been increased till December 11 by Banking Court Lahore on Saturday (today).
The special court has given Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) three weeks to file the challan against Shehbaz Sharif and others accused in the sugar mills money laundering case.
There is an Rs25 billion money laundering case on the National Assembly Opposition Leader Shehbaz Sharif and his son Hamza Shehbaz. FIA lawyer has told the court that the accused have created wealth and assets and encouraged his sons Salman and Hamza to create assets beyond means.
The prosecution of FIA informed the court that Mohamad Usman, one of the main accused is not turning up before the department for the investigation and questioning. He has acquired bail.
Other than that, the special court instructed and gave a time of three weeks to FIA to file the case challan. In failing to do so, a show-cause notice will be served to the entire investigation team.
