ISLAMABAD: Inflation rose by 0.80 per cent in the last week of August 2020.

Prices of 20 essential commodities rising, prices of six essential commodities declining and prices of 25 essential commodities stabilizing in a week, according to the Federal Bureau of Statistics. ۔

The Federal Bureau of Statistics released a weekly report on inflation. According to the report, in the last week of August, inflation rose by 0.80%.

Overall, the rate of inflation rose to 0.63 per cent in August, but the average rate of inflation in August was 2 per cent lower than the previous month.
