Inflation hit a three-month high in the first week of this month

According to the Federal Bureau of Statistics, inflation in the country has reached a three-month high.

Inflation rose to 11.28 percent in the first week of October. Onions have gone up by Rs 8 to Rs 75 per kg, tomatoes by Rs 128 per kg and eggs by Rs 160 per dozen.

Sugar is being sold at Rs 110 per km in Islamabad. 20 kilowatts are being sold in Karachi for Rs.

According to the Federal Bureau of Statistics, inflation rose to 11.28 percent in the first week of October. Inflation has risen to 1.24% in a single week.

The price of chicken has gone up by Rs 10 to Rs 172 per kg. Last week, prices of 4 products including banana, dal, mung bean, mash and garh declined marginally while prices of 23 items including ghee, coking oil, chilli and tea remained unchanged.
