Srinagar: Indian troops martyred a Kashmiri youth in Shopian district of south Kashmir in a fresh operation of state terrorism in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the occupying Indian troops laid siege to the Mail Hora area of the district and conducted a so-called search operation during which the youth was martyred.
Indian police and army also arrested two youths during the operation in the Patan area of Baramulla.
On the other hand, an Indian police officer, identified as Muhammad Ashraf Butt, was shot dead by unidentified persons in the Sindhpura area of Islamabad district of Occupied Kashmir.
A resident of Sunilpura, the police inspector was returning home after evening prayers when he was shot. Mohammad Ashraf Butt was rushed to the hospital for treatment but succumbed to his injuries.
