Indian troops martyr two Kashmiri youth
SRINAGAR: In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two more Kashmiri youth in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Saturday.
The troops martyred the youth during a cordon and search operation in Wanpora area of the district. The troops have sealed all entry and exit points of the area.
On May 29, Professor Khurshid Ahmad, an economist and prominent intellectual, had said that the Kashmir movement had entered its final phase but it is difficult to predict the duration of this phase.
In his weekly column published by the World News TV UK website, he had said present stage of the Kashmir movement was effective and decisive.
He had said the real issue was the Indian occupation as the internationally settled solution to this problem was a plebiscite for the right of self-determination.
India using molestation of Kashmiri women as weapon of war
India is using molestation and humiliation of women as a weapon of war to suppress Kashmiris’ struggle for securing their inalienable right to self-determination.
An analytical report, issued by Research Section of Kashmir Media Service on May 29, in connection with the completion of eleven years to the gory incident of Shopian double rape and murder, said that women were the worst victims of Indian state terrorism in occupied Kashmir.
The report maintained Indian troops had molested 11,204 women since January 1989 till date.
The All Parties Hurriyat Conference spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar, on May 29 had said India was victimizing Kashmiri women for their active role in the ongoing freedom movement.
Acting Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Abdul Hameed Butt, addressing a meeting held through video conferencing on party’s Founding Day, had said that no power on earth could become a hurdle between Kashmiris and their freedom as they had rendered unparalleled sacrifices for this cause.
