 Indian Islamic Scholar Dr. Kalbe Sadiq dies in Lucknow

Famous Shia scholar Maulana Kalbe Sadiq died at the age of 83 in Lucknow on Tuesday. He was the senior vice president of All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB).

Kalbe Sadiq had a following from different religions and countries. He was suffering from severe pneumonia and was also a patient of cancer. Uttar Pardesh chief minister, Yogi Adityanath also expressed grief over the death of Sadiq.

Kalbe Sadiq’s father Kalbe Hussain was also an Islamic scholar along with his brother Kalbe Abid. He was known for his sweet tongue and kind heart who always tried to create communal harmony and peace in India
