She said people were dying because of deadly virus all around world, but in Kashmir virus was not only Coronavirus but the Army as well, whose brutality had reached a new level even in the pandemic.
“Today, they have killed a man in front of a mere 3yrs old grandson. Can you imagine what impact it would have left on the child? And it is the story of every child in Indian Occupied Kashmir. The event has already taken a beautiful childhood from the kid. Do Kashmiri lives not matter? Are our children not allowed to have a beautiful childhood?” she queried.
Sharing picture of the incident, Foreign Office Spokesperson Aisha Farooqui wrote, “Searching for words to describe this picture of grief & helplessness of the Kashmiri people in IOJK today.”
In a video message, Mushaal Malik said the elderly man was going in his car to buy milk from a shop and he was pulled out by “the Indian terrorist army” and killed point-black in front of his son.
The three years old boy tried to wake up his grandfather amid sounds of bullets.
Mushaal demanded from the world powers to impose economic sanctions on India for the gruesome and inhumane acts. “When will the world realize that the arms used by Indian forces are completely illegal,” she asked.
