India bride cancels wedding after groom fails to count Rs10 notes

An Indian bride named Rita Singh, from Uttar Pradesh, called off her wedding after the groom failed to count a few currency notes of Rs10.

The girl’s family noticed odd behavior of groom and they decided to test him. The family gave him 30 notes of Rs10 and asked him to count them. However, he failed to complete the task.

The 21-year-old walked out of the ceremony and decided to call off the wedding.

Meanwhile, the bride’s family stated that they unaware of the groom being “mentally weak”.

However, the bride’s unwillingness to marry the guy sparked a feud between the two families.

Despite the cops’ efforts to mediate, the bride stuck to her decision and the baraat (the wedding party of the groom’s family) returned without a bride for the young man.
