India announced to introduce its own “Digital Currency”
New Delhi: India has announced the introduction of its digital currency by 2023.
Presenting the budget for the new financial year in India, Indian Finance Minister Nirmala Sita Raman announced that the country would introduce its own digital currency, adding that the introduction of digital rupee in India would be based on “blockchain and other technologies”.
During her budget speech, Nirmala Sita Raman added that the introduction of digital currency by the central bank would give a major impetus to the digital economy, and digital currency would lead to a more efficient and affordable currency management system. India will introduce digital rupee in fiscal year 2022-2023 starting April 1. However, Sita Raman did not elaborate on how the digital rupee would work or what it would look like.
Crypto digital currency is becoming a popular source of income in India, after which the Indian government has decided to introduce its own digital currency.
Recently, with reference to Bollywood King, there was news of earning millions of rupees through crypto currency.
According to Indian media reports, Amitabh Bachchan also became the King of earning money from crypto currency. Earned billons of rupees in a year by investing in crypto currency.
Amitabh Bachchan, along with his son Abhishek Bachchan, had invested 2500 thousand dollars in cryptocurrency through a Singaporean company in 2015. Two and a half years later, Amitabh Bachchan made a profit of Rs. 112 crore from crypto currency.
