Increasing focus on development of special economic zones under CPEC : Asad

Asad Umar, Minister for Planning and Development said that by the end of next month, the government will outbreak first Special Economic Zone under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
On Friday, Umar expressed the determination to open two more SEZs within current fiscal year in a Tweet.

He said under the first phase, on each Special Economic Zone is being established in Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkwa and Punjab.
He wrote,
“Increasing focus on development of special economic zones under CPEC, to accelerate industrialization & job creation. Targeting ground breaking of 1st zone before end of december. InshaAllah 2 more within this fiscal year. One each in sind, kp and punjab.”

Asad Umar said to accelerate industrialization and job creation, government is focusing on the development of SEZs under the CPEC.
