PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Mahmood Khan has inaugurated an anti-polio drive in the province.

According to details, 4.562 million children in 21 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be vaccinated against polio.

More than 19,000 teams have been formed for the campaign, including 17,859 mobile and 1,237 fixed teams.

On the occasion, Chief Minister Mehmood Khan said that the provincial government is committed to eradicate the polio virus.

Chief Minister KP said that all sections should support the government’s efforts to eradicate polio.

It may be recalled that Prime Minister Imran Khan had telephoned Microsoft founder Bill Gates yesterday, in which the two leaders discussed the Corona situation and the anti-polio campaign. Reiterating his commitment to fight polio, the Prime Minister said that eradication of polio from the country is the top priority of the government.
