Imtiaz Store’s branch manager arrested for violating lockdown timing

KARACHI: Police have arrested manager of Imtiaz Super Store Tariq Road for violating lockdown timing and not enforcing social-distancing at the super store in Karachi.

Ferozabad Police said standard operating procedures were being violated by the store. Police have registered a case against the arrested manger.

Imtiaz Super Store is also reportedly charging more prices on commodities during the lockdown. Its Tariq Road branch was selling chicken meat for Rs280 per kilogram while the government rate list issued by the Karachi Commissioner has set chicken meat price at Rs200 per kilogram.
