Imran Khan to be in office till the appointment of caretaker Prime Minister: President

The No-Confidence motion against Imran Khan was to be voted on yesterday but the Deputy Speaker National Assembly rejected the motion declaring it unconstitutional.
After the resolution was rejected, Imran Khan in his address to the nation advised the President of Pakistan to dissolve the National Assembly, after which President Arif Alvi dissolved the National Assembly.
Later, the Cabinet Division issued a notification according to which Imran Khan Niazi is no longer the Prime Minister after the President dissolved the National Assembly under Article 58 (1) of the Constitution.

However, now a statement has been released from the Twitter account of the President of Pakistan according to which Imran Ahmad Khan Niazi will remain in the post of Prime Minister till the appointment of caretaker Prime Minister.
The statement from the President of Pakistan said that under Article 224A- (4) of the Constitution, Imran Khan will fulfill his responsibilities as the Prime Minister till the appointment of the caretaker Prime Minister.
Earlier, PTI leader Shahbaz Gill had said in a statement that Imran Khan would fulfill his responsibilities under Article 224A- (4) of the Constitution till the caretaker Prime Minister appointed.
