Imran Khan terms police raids on houses of PTI leaders ‘brutal crackdown’

PTI chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan has termed the raids on houses of the PTI leaders in Punjab, Islamabad and Karachi a “brutal crackdown”.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said that peaceful protest is the right of citizens and this crackdown against us is raising serious questions on the government.

In a Tweet on a social networking site, former Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed his views on the government’s crackdown on PTI leaders and workers.

— Imran Khan (@ImranKhanPTI) May 23, 2022

In his message, Imran Khan said that the brutal raids against workers and leaders in Islamabad have once again shown us what we are aware of that whenever PML-N comes in Power they goes for fascism.

“This crackdown on us is also raising serious questions about the puppets,” he said.

He warned that these undemocratic and brutal measures would lead to further turmoil in the economic situation and push the country towards bankruptcy.

Imran Khan made it clear in his message that the only difference between Democrats and Kleptocrats is that the processions of PPP, PML-N and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam against our government were not stopped nor did we carry out any raids against their workers.
