Imran Khan terminates membership of PTI’s Faisal Vawda

According to a statement by the PTI’s central secretariat, party chairman Imran Khan has terminated Faisal Vawda’s basic membership from the party after he failed to respond to a show-cause notice issued to him following a controversial press conference.
The notice reads, ‘This is reference to the show cause notice issued to you dated October 26,2022 for defying party police. You have not responded to the notice within the stipulated time. Therefore, your membership from the party stands terminated.
Earlier, PTI issued a show-cause notice to party leader Faisal Vawda on the instructions of Imran Khan immediately after the press conference in Islamabad regarding the murder of senior journalist Arshad Sharif and the party much-hyped Long March.
Faisal Vawda had told in the press conference that the plan to kill Arshad Sharif was made in Pakistan and its purpose was to spread chaos in Pakistan.
He furthered that conspiracy has been hatched to kill important political figures and PTI’s supporters during Long March.
Responding to his press conference, PTI Sindh President Ali Haider Zaidi said that, Faisal Vawda was trying to damage party’s long march.
“It was interesting that all the channels including PTV were broadcasting this press conference,” he added.
He said that, “it’s clear that Imported Government launched him. But he made no sense. When Imran Khan has clearly issued instructions for all to remain peaceful, what weight does his presser carry?”
