Imran Khan tells he gained more weight since becoming prime minister

LAHORE: During the telephonic Q/A session with public, Prime Minister Imran Khan revealed hat he has gained weight since he took charge of the prime minister’s office.

On Monday, Imran Khan took calls from people from across Pakistan, on which a person asked him the secret behind his fitness.

“My weight never increased from 185 pounds during my playing journey but currently I am weighing around 200 pounds as I get no time to exercise due to the busy schedule,” he said.

He further added, “We should take care of our body as it is blessing from our creator, Allah (SWT)”.

Moreover, while answering a person about the strategy of covid-19 vaccination, Imran Khan said that initially the health workers who were treating coronavirus patients would be vaccinated.

On a question about Islamophobia and publication of blasphemous cartoons of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), he said, “Nothing hurts us more than [the prophet’s] disrespect but the West does not understand this.”

He revealed that he had taken the matter to the United Nations and the UN General Assembly.  The issue had been raised for a third time with the cooperation of Malaysia’s Mahathir Mohamad and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, he maintained.
