KARACHI: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said nurses of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital appeared to him as hoors (women of paradise) after he was administered a pain-killer injection.

After he fell from stage, during an election campaign, he was brought to Shaukat Khanum Hospital, Imran Khan said. He said he was in much agony, he had never been in such a pain as his back bones were badly hurt. He said he did not know what injection Dr Asim had administered to him but it relieved the pain completely and the entire world had changed for him.

“The nurses (around) looked like hoors to me,” he said provoking laughter.

PM Imran said he felt totally fine after that. He even made a speech and he did not know whatever he said in it, he maintained.

He said after the injection’s effect had mitigated, he asked the doctor to again administer him the same medicine, but the doctor denied it. “For God’s sake administer the same injection again,” he said he had requested the doctor. He said he even threatened the doctor for that but he was not administered the injection again.
