International Cricket Council (ICC) on Tuesday created a poll on his official Twitter account, asking netizens to vote for the best cricket giant of the world. Prime Minister of Pakistan and former cricket legend Imran Khan claimed the poll leaving Indian star batsman Virat Kohli behind.
As an outcome of the poll in which more than five hundred thousand people took part, Khan got 47.3% votes followed by Kohli (46.2%).
South African palyer AB de Villiers and Australian woman cricketer Meg Lanning were also included in the poll.
The development caused an uproar on social media as the netizens from rival countries were engaged in polling process.
