Imran Khan praises Erdogan, Khamenei for condemning massacre of Muslims by India

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has thanked Iranian supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, for speaking against the oppression and massacre of Muslims in India and Kashmiris in Occupied Kashmir by the Hindu supremacist Modi regime.

In a thread of tweets, PM Imran said it was sad to see that few voices from the Muslim world were speaking out and condemning it, while more voices were being raised in the West condemning the Hindu supremacist Modi regime’s massacre of Muslims in India and Kashmiris in Occupied Kashmir.

Sadly, few voices from the Muslim World are speaking out & condemning this; & more voices are being raised in the West condemning the Hindu Supremacist Modi regime's massacre of Muslims in India & Kashmiris in IOJK.

Meanwhile, President Dr Arif Alvi also appreciated the reaction of supreme leader of Iran Ayatollah Ali Khamenei against ongoing riots in New Delhi against the discriminatory citizenship law.

Talking about Indian aggression on Feb 5, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi had expressed regret that unilateral and illegal actions taken by the BJP-led fascist regime in the Occupied Kashmir had endangered the regional peace and stability.

He had recalled that Pakistan’s forces responded to Indian aggression with full bravery and strength in February 2019.

The foreign minister had said recent spree of violence in New Delhi had badly exposed anti-Muslims and Hindutva ideology of the BJP government.
