NANKANA SAHIB: Former Indian cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu on Saturday said Alexander The Great had conquered the world through force, but Prime Minister Imran Khan had conquered hearts of Sikhs across the world through love by opening the Kartarpur corridor.
“I have seen big politicians with small heart, but Imran Khan has a big heart. He has created the history by opening the Kartarpur corridor,” former Indian minister of local government Navjot Sidhu said while addressing the inaugural ceremony of Kartarpur corridor.
Prime Minister Imran Khan on this occasion said the entire subcontinent could become prosperous, if the dispute of Kashmir was resolved.

“After coming into power, I talked to Indian PM Narendra Modi that the biggest issue facing the subcontinent is poverty and we could eradicate it through cordial relations and opening our borders for economic activities,” Imran Khan said.
He said if the issue of Kashmir was resolved the whole subcontinent could boost its economy. “We want to get liberation from these issues.” Kashmir issue could be resolved through negotiations, he maintained.
Imran said he did not have idea that what value Kartarpur held for Sikhs. “I realized it one year ago. It was as if Muslims could only watch Madina from a distance of few miles but could not reach it.”
