Imran Khan announces Rs1 billion aid for flood-hit Sindh

PTI Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan visited the flood-affected areas of Sindh and announced to donate Rs1 billion from the funds collected through a telethon for the flood victims.
Former Prime Minister Imran Khan visited the relief camp set up in government schools of Sukkur and met the families of the flood victims, where he listened to their complaints and distributed food.
Imran Khan told the victims that he has reached here to take care of the flood victims and assured the victims that PTI will continue to play its role for the rehabilitation of the flood victims.
Talking about the funds, the former prime minister said that PTI will allocate the funds in consultation with the team.
“I will host another telethon next Sunday and funds will be allocated for the flood victims of Sindh from the funds collected through this campaign,” he added.
Imran Khan said: if PTI comes back to power, his party will build dams, improve drainage and start plantation campaigns to deal with climate change and natural disasters like floods.”
