The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Tuesday summoned PTI leader and former finance minister Shaukat Tarin over his audio call to Khyber Paktwnkha Finance Minister Taimoor Saleem Jhagra to write a letter to International Monetary Fund (IMF) to sabotage the IMF’s tranche deal of $1.7 billion.
Shaukat Tarin has been summoned to record his statement in the inquiry on September 21 at 10 am.

On August 28, two audio call of Former Finance Minister Shaukat Tareen, Punjab’s Finance Minister Mohsin Khan Laghari and KP’s Finance Minister Taimur Khan Jhagra regrading sabotaging the IMF’s tranche deal of $1.7 billion leaked.
