“I’ll not allow anyone to defame my name”: Mehwish Hayat calls out Raja Adil
Mehwish Hayat called out a fugitive Pakistan army officer and now a YouTuber Major (retd) Adil Raja for levelling false allegations against her.
Taking to Instagram, Mehwish wrote, “just because I am an actress doesn’t mean my name can be dragged through the mud”.
The actress showed her serious concerns over the baseless allegations against her and further wrote, “shame on you for spreading false allegations and insinuations about someone you know nothing about and even bigger shame on people who blindly believe in his bullshit”.
Mehwish Hayat also feel disgusted about the mindset of our society and said, “this just shows the sickness of our society that laps up this gutter of journalism without any thought”.
“I will not allow anyone to defame my name in this way anymore”, the actress concluded.
Earlier, Adil Raja, without naming any actress but mentioning the initials of names, had alleged that some Pakistani actresses and models were “trapped and used by the establishment for lewd purposes”.
