“I used to work at an easy load shop”: Kaifi Khalil shares how he bought his first guitar

Mahira Khan who returned home after attending the Red Sea Film Festival in Jeddah complained about her missing bag.
From working at an easy-load shop to spreading magic with his beautiful voice, Kaifi Khalil, the “Kana Yaari” famed singer, shared his real-life’s struggles.
The Kahani Suno singer appeared in an interview with Fuchsia Magazine in which he opened up about the difficulties he faced as a child and teenager.
While talking about how he first his first ever second-hand guitar, Kaifi said, “I was around 15 years old when I used to work in small shops like easy load shops. At that time I always used to think that I have to buy a guitar but didn’t know where to buy it”.
“Then somebody told me that there is a place in Saddar where you can buy second-hand guitars. From my first salary which was around Rs1500, I bought my first ever second-hand guitar”, the singer said.
He also shared that he is a resident of the talent hub Lyari but he was not able to attend school in his childhood due to the struggles he was going through in life.
He also shared how excited he was to receive a call from Coke Studio’s producer Xulfi and how difficult it was for him to keep quiet about the accomplishment of getting a song into Coke Studio.
Kaifi’s last song “Kahani Suno 2.0” is also stole the hearts of music lovers.
