“I always thought one should have a companion”, Syra Yousuf on her second marriage

In a conversation with Fucshia Magazine, Syra Yousuf talked about her teenage time, her daughter Nooreh’s bond with step-sister Zahra and her second marriage plans.

During an interview, Syra talked about her daughter Nooreh’s bond with step-sister Zahra and said, “Nooreh always wanted a sibling. She is very excited about Zahra and I guess we should not pollute children’s minds with such things”.

Talking about her plans of getting married again, Syra said, “I am generally very fond of the institution of marriage. I think marriage is beautiful and why spend your life alone? I don’t see the point in that. I always thought one should have a companion, life becomes easier”.

She talked about her daughter and said that one day she will also have a different life. “Right now I am a mother, and I have my responsibility but Nooreh will grow up and she will have her own life to live. I want her to live her life on her own terms”.

While talking about whether she is ready for marriage or not Syra feels she is not sure right now.

The Sinf-e-Aahan actress also talked about the concept of meeting the right person for marriage and said, “I just came across something in the morning on social media and the person was saying that in order to make sure that you have beautiful married life you have to be in love with the idea of marriage. Marriage is a gamble. For a successful marriage, similar values and beliefs of the partners really matter”
.
“If two people are friends with each other in any given situation and respect each other, being there for each other that’s important in marriage. You should feel safe with someone you are going to spend the rest of your lives with”, Syra concluded.
