A senior politician from Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz), Zubair said that whoever was behind that had done an extremely poor and shameful act.
“I have served my country with honesty, integrity & commitment. [I] will continue to raise my voice for betterment of Pakistan,” he added.
Journalist and anchorperson Gharidah Farooqui asked who had recorded and leaked the video of Muhammad Zubair. “If it is consensual, private, then it is a different matter. If it is job fraud, harassment, etc., then there should be accountability,” she wrote on Twitter.
Meanwhile, another anchorperson Mansoor Ali Khan quoted a concerned person that the video was “fake and doctored”.
Focal Person to Punjab Chief Minister, Azhar Mashwani alleged in sarcastic tone that it seemed like an inside job of Maryam Nawaz–PML-N Vice President.
Netizens on the other hand, took different stances. Most of them have opted to stay humorous while others believe it is a sad and shocking phase for politics in Pakistan.
However, the PML-N has yet to give any official statement.
