Historical city deprived of museums even after many years

The city of Multan with its ancient history and civilization is still without a museum after many years.

Thousands of years old antiquities of Multan are kept in other cities as a trust. Multan is rich in ancient and valuable artifacts but lacks a museum.

Deputy Director Archeology said that a proposal has been made to build a museum on a 6 Kanal site in front of the fort in Multan, awaiting approval.

Questions have been raised many times over the discovery of valuable artifacts from the Multan treasury.

Museums reflect the country’s history, culture, and civilization. Citizens say the glorious past must be preserved for the future.
