Famous Turkish actor Celal Al, who played the role of Abdur Rehman Alp in ‘Dirilis: Ertuğrul’, recently visited Pakistan along with other delegation members including producer Kemal Tekden.
The actor has made many memories here as he is deeply impressed by the beauty and the hospitability of Pakistan.
Celal, who has returned back to his homeland, shared a farewell message to the Pakistani nation: “From very nice and very efficient Pakistan trip, we safely arrived in Istanbul. Under the leadership of my teacher Kemal Tekden, I had very fruitful meetings with President Arif Alvi and Prime Minister İmran Khan and valuable actors Adnan Siddiqui, Humayun Saeed and many other brothers whose names I cannot count.”
The Turkish actor also commented on the history shared by the two countries when the Muslims of the subcontinent took part in Khilafat Movement – a campaign to support Ottoman Empire.
“We cannot do anything against this indescribable heroism(while referring to an event of 1915). I remember with grace and respect. We presented the soil to President Arif Alvi from Gallipoli and the grave of our National Poet Mehmet Akif Ersoy to serve this brotherhood a little.” he continued.
However, how did both the movement and the empire meet their end, is the matter of another debate which will not be discussed here.
The visiting actor also shared some of his valuable memories online.
