Highest COVID-19 positivity rate recorded in Karachi: NCOC
KARACHI: The National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) has said that the highest positivity rate of Covid-19 has been recorded in Karachi, which is 15.7 percent.
Whereas, the second highest positivity rate of infection cases was recorded in Peshawar, 15.5 percent, which was followed by Mirpur, 9.2 percent.
The countrywide positivity rate has been recorded at 5.8 percent, which has led to the death of 82 people in 24 hours.
2,184 people tested positive out of 38,229 people, as per the information shared by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC).
Moreover, Azad Jammu and Kashmir recorded 8.5 percent, Sindh 8.1 percent, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 5.3 percent, Punjab 4.7 percent, Balochistan 3.8 percent, Islamabad 3.3 percent and Gilgit Baltistan 1.4 percent, consecutively.
Around 35,130 covid cases are active in the country.
