 High alert in Sindh including Karachi after Peshawar blast

Following the blast at a madrassa in Peshawar, IG Sindh, Mushtaq Ahmed Mahar, has placed police on high alert across the province.

Seven people were martyred and more than 100 others were injured in a blast in the Dir Colony area of ​​Peshawar this morning (October 27). After which, IG Sindh has issued orders to the police to remain alert in Sindh including Karachi.

The IG Sindh while issuing instructions to the police said that security arrangements should be tightened at the provincial level and police patrolling, picketing, snap checking should be made effective and successful.

The instructions further said that SPs, DSPs, SHOs should ensure their presence and make security at mosques, imambargahs and other public and important places extraordinary.
