Heroin seized at Karachi Jinnah International Airport

According to media reports, the Airport Security Force (ASF) intercepted a massive attempt to transport over 1500 kilograms of heroin out of the nation and detained a smuggler at Karachi airport.
According to ASF authorities, the heroin was discovered from a traveller trying to fly to Dubai from Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport.
The discovered 1560kg heroin was hidden in the passenger’s shoes.
The confiscated heroin is believed to be worth Rs15 million, according to the spokesperson.

Earlier in July, the Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) gas seized 1885.66 kilograms narcotics worth 107.951 million dollars, arrested 30 culprits and impounded 15 vehicles while conducting 26 counter-narcotics strikes throughout the country.
According to a spokesperson, the seized drugs comprised of 18.72 kgs heroin, 1492.75 kgs hashish, 120 kgs opium, 1.040 kgs amphetamine (ice), 6,600 ecstasy tabs (3.850 kgs), 1.600 kgs suspected powder, 5,460 alparozlam tabs (1.500 kgs), 565,320 Xanax Tabs (134 kgs), 264,000 Valium Diazepam tabs (78 kgs), 83,760 Pinix Alprazlom tabs (26.5 kgs), 7.5 kgs Methamphetamine (ice) and 0.200 kgs ecstasy powder.
Police Station Regional Directorate ANF Balochistan recovered six kgs hashish near Bismillah Hotel Dasht area District Sibi from possession of arrested accused Shoukat Ali, resident of Mastung.
In another operation, Police Station ANF Balochistan intercepted an auto rickshaw at Hazar Ganji Bus stop near Peyalah Hotel in Quetta and recovered 23 kg hashish from possession of arrested accused Abdul Waheed, Muhammad Akhtar and Ali Mehdi residents of Quetta.
