Heavy rains in the forecast across Sindh

KARACHI: The Meteorological Department has informed that the fifth spell of monsoon will begin across Sindh including Karachi. Monsoon winds are expected to enter Sindh from Friday to Monday.

According to details, the fifth spell of monsoon is likely to start from today. Weather forecasters have predicted more monsoon rains in Sindh from today to Monday.

He said that strong monsoon winds may enter Sindh in two days from Friday, as a result of which heavy and torrential rains are likely in different cities of the province.

In this regard, the Director Meteorological Department, while predicting the fifth spell of monsoon, said that moderate to heavy rain is expected in Karachi today, due to which more than 100 mm of rain may fall in Karachi.

According to the meteorological department, there is a strong possibility of rain in Hyderabad, Thatta, Badin, and Shaheed Benazirabad from today to Monday. Besides, rain is also forecast in Dadu, Thar Parkar, Mirpur Khas, Sanghar, Sukkur, and Larkana.
