Heavy rain forecast for today in Karachi

KARACHI: The Meteorological Department has also reported a forecast of heavy rains in the city on Monday, August 24, saying that a big spell is coming, which may receive 150 mm of rain.

Warning the people of Karachi, Director Met of Abdul Qayyum Bhutto said that the monsoon rains in Karachi have not ended. The city is expected to receive up to 150 mm of rain. The Meteorological Department has warned that it may rain for three days across Sindh.

According to the report of the agency, the powerful spell of monsoon will remain in Karachi till August 25, after which intermittent rains will continue. It may rain with light and thundershowers during this time.

On the other hand, heavy rains are also expected in Thar Parkar, Nagar Parkar, Islamkot, Umerkot, Mithi, Diplo, Thatta, Badin, Sujawal and surrounding areas, while clouds are also expected in Hyderabad, Mirpur Khas and Tando Allahyar. Will rain
