KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department forecasts heatwave to hit Karachi from September 22 to 24.

Heatwave may hit Karachi once again. The heat from the sun is trapped in the city during the long day and there is not enough time for the city to lose heat before the sunrise. In result, the temperature of the city becomes dangerously high and hazardous.

The Meteorological Department Sindh’s director Sardar Sarfaraz said,

“There are chances of 39-degree weather in the coming days.”

He also said that there will be less sea breeze as well.
