Heat wave expected in Karachi this week

Temperature expected to rise sharply in the metropolitan city Karachi this week, causing the heat to intensify.
In this regard, the Meteorological Department said that this week the temperature will be 9 to 10 degrees Celsius higher than normal.
According to the Meteorological Department, the current temperature of the city has been recorded at 24 degrees Celsius today while the daytime temperature will remain between 35 and 37 degrees Celsius.
MET said that the wind was blowing at a speed of 7 km per hour in the city while the wind would blow at a speed of 20 to 25 km per hour during the day.
On the other hand, dry weather will prevail in most districts of Balochistan while Sibi, Turbat, Nokandi, Dalbandin, Lasbela and Gawadar will remain hot.
The minimum temperature in Quetta was recorded at 13 degrees Celsius, Ziarat at 10 degrees Celsius and Kalat at 9 degrees Celsius.
Besides, minimum temperature of 21 degree Celsius was recorded in Gawadar coastal area of Balochistan, minimum temperature of 20 degree Celsius in Sibi and minimum temperature of 22 degree Celsius in Nokandi.
Air humidity in Quetta is 23%, Gawadar 47%, Sibi 27% and 10% in Nokandi.
