QUETTA: In a late-night development Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Ali Zaidi, Special Assistant to the PM (SAPM) for Overseas Syed Zulfi Bukhari and Deputy Speaker Qasim Khan Suri. visited Hazara protestors in Quetta. The negotiations between the government and the members of Hazara community once again did not reach to conclusion.

The government officials came to console the grieving families who were protesting along with the dead bodies of the victims of Macch Massacre in which 11 people were kidnapped and killed by terrorists. However the protestors again refused to bury the victims.

“We will not call off our sit-in and bury our loved ones until Prime Minister Imran Khan personally meets the mourners,” Syed Agha Raza one of the leaders of the protest, said.

Zaidi met the protesters and assured them that the perpetrators of the Machh tragedy would be caught and brought to justice. The development came a day after Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed’s visit to meet the protesters which failed to end the protest.
